Power and frequency

The waveguide device itself can only make the frequency in the bandpass range carry high fidelity signal, while coaxial technology only has cut-off frequency. Different types of coaxial connectors have different power and frequency performance.
The lower cut-off frequency of RF coaxial connector is zero, and the upper cut-off frequency is 95%. The working frequency depends on the structure of the connector. Generally speaking, the smaller the size of the outer conductor, the higher the working frequency of the connector: the lower the dielectric constant of the filling medium, the higher the working frequency, the lower the insertion loss.
