Product Description
The waterproof FAKRA Z female jack connector is a right-angle crimp connector for terminating RG316, RG174 and LMR100 coaxial cable. Built to the FAKRA Z color-code standard with a water blue RAL 5021 housing and coded key, it rebuilds factory-style antenna cable ends for car radio and automotive RF applications.
Why It Works:
FAKRA interfaces lock with an audible click and use a keyed housing-and-key system, so a Code Z connector only latches with matching Code Z equipment - preventing wrong connections before they happen. Red O-ring seals on the body and a rubber-gasketed waterproof cap block moisture and dust at exposed mounting points. The 90-degree body exits the cable flat against the mounting surface, and the crimp ferrule delivers a mechanically secure, electrically stable termination.
